Our leadership team had a rich discussion on why they or anybody would invite someone to church. If you don’t regularly invite others to church, it can be uncomfortable starting. And yet, there are good reasons to invite people to church.
For their social well being. We are an opening and welcoming place, a place where it is safe to be yourself. People feel safe and known here. We are accepting and non-judgmental.
For their spiritual well being. Following Jesus leads to the amazing place where we can be fully seen and fully loved all at the same time. Being a Christian doesn’t take our troubles away, but it sure does change how those troubles affect us. This is a safe place spiritually, where we’re not told what we have to believe, but are invited to dive deeply into God’s truth already in our hearts.
We are enriched by new people who bring unique ways of knowing and experiencing God. Others boost our own faith and deepen our faith journey.
