When I was a kid and unchurched, I thought being Christian was all about making yourself believe certain things about God. Christians so often emphasize believing. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I discovered that being Christian means following Jesus and taking on that life of discipleship which is being and doing like the one you follow. It’s about how you live.
For five weeks we’ll be using shapes as our “vocabulary” to discuss the essential practices of the Christian lifestyle. This Sunday we start with celtic cross (a cross with a circle in the middle) and look at three anchor passages that guide our discipleship.
Peace,
Pastor Mia
