Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

THIS WEEK MAR 13-19, 2019

In Worship This Week
One of the consistent themes included in the story of Jesus spending 40 days in the wilderness is that he was tempted.  This is not surprising.  Anytime we commit ourselves to a lifestyle of intentional Christian practice, there will be temptation to do what is easiest rather than the harder work of living out our discipleship.  This Sunday, we will look for guidance from the same scripture text we considered last week, Luke 4:1-12, but head in a different direction, exploring the specific temptation of trying to bargain with God.

Sunday Supper Volunteers
We still need volunteers for our FREE Community Sunday Supper each month.  We need people to help prepare the food, serve and clean up.  It is not necessary that you know how to do any of these, we just need your help.  There is a sign up sheet at the back of the sanctuary each month.  Please come and help us and share in this wonderful opportunity to minister to our community!
