This Week Nov 15-21

In Worship This Week
It's Reign of Christ Sunday!  We'll be celebrating Christ's authority throughout every season and enjoying all of the ways the church tells time with colors, symbols, words, and music.  You're always invited to wear red on Pentecost, but this week you're invited to wear the color of your favorite church season or any of our liturgical colors.  (Hint: the liturgical colors are red, green, white, and purple.)  Join us for this Sunday of celebration and praise at 10:30 a.m.!
Read Psalm 100 in anticipation of worship!
SPRC will meet on November 26 at noon for our quarterly meeting.  Please RSVP Ginny at or text me at 208-922-4807.

Caring for Our Community
We've filled our laundry basket with donations once.  Let's see if we can fill it several more times before the end of the month!
Feeding Minds: The Right Care at the Right Time
Join us for this important information session offered during this month's Sunday Supper.  (See details in the graphic below.)
Bakers Needed!
After the 6th annual community choir concert, there will be a reception with Christmas cookies, milk, and fellowship galore!  Can you contribute a few dozen homemade cookies?  If so, please let Rev. Karen know or sign up at the back of the sanctuary.  Cookies need to be delivered to the church by 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.  Thank you!

Got Tickets?
They're going fast!  Call 208-850-5784 or email to request your free tickets to this year's community choir concert.  It includes voices from Living Hope's own choir and congregation, and it's an event you won't want to miss!
Thank You!
Many thanks to Gary Woods and all who helped with church clean up day on Saturday, Nov. 11.  The church looks great, inside and out!
Also, thanks to Linda Shanley who keeps our flower boxes colorful and lovely all year round!
The World According to Joy
I did an interview this week with a member of our congregation.  Stay tuned for the December Newsletter to hear more about our very own Tesla Gillespie.  It was a great day at church last Sunday.  Once again, I got to hold Kaylynn Stewart (Emery and Carrington's little sister) through the entire service.   It's so enjoyable and she's such a good baby.  Kaylynn slept through most of the service and she barely made a peep!  Then we had our leadership meeting with a fabulous lunch provided by Merlene.
