2018 Summit On Idaho Hunger and Food Security

Held alternate years, the 2018 Summit on Idaho Hunger and Food SecurityNourishing Communities Together – brings together leaders from business, government, agriculture, non-profit agencies, schools, tribal organizations, faith communities, and Idahoans who have experienced hunger.  The summit provies an opportunity to gain increased awareness, discover best practices, and learn how to effectively make a difference. 

Participants will hear from two keynote speakers, and will select one of six workshop tracks.  These workshops offer a way to dig deeper into the impact of hunger and lack of food security on particular populations in Idaho: seniors, immigrant families, or children.  Other workshop tracks include health partnerships, local food systems, and advocacy.

Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Cost for Early Bird registration (including lunch) is $75; a limited number of scholarships are available.
