Kuna Community Food Bank/Pantry -
Started in 1983, this agency provides emergency food to the Kuna,
Idaho community and residents of the Kuna School District.
We can use your help - all year 'round.  Many individuals and organizations
help keep our shelves stocked so we can do our job.  Thanks to ALL!
The "Scouting for Food" food drive is our largest event each year!
It was held on November 8th, 2014!
We thank the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and their parents.  This
year they brought in about 15,000# of food.  This food drive helps
us stock our inventory each year.  Thank you for giving generously!
Another fundraising opportunity is with HR Block Tax Consultants.  They
make a donation for each client who gives them permission... so if you are
using a Tax preparation service, check out HR Block and help the Food Bank.
Our second largest food drive is the "Letter Carriers Food Drive" which is held on the
Saturday before Mother's day in May.  This food drive typically brings in 3,500 pounds.

To receive food assistance, call the Kuna Community Food
at 922-4745 (the Kuna United Methodist Church) and leave a

pantry mailbox.)  One of our volunteers will call you to schedule an
We try to schedule appointments for Tues, Wed & Thurs afternoons.
To donate food or funds - call 922-4745 to schedule a time when
we can meet with you. To donate money, please mail your check to:
Kuna Food Bank, P.O. Box 17, Kuna ID 83634.
We require clients to be in the Kuna School District  - and we limit how often clients can
get food - in order that we can help as many as possible.   We serve the greater Melba
area, too.
